Bench Budget

This photo was taken on an unusually cold and still evening. You could do a whole series on empty benches in Wellington. Someone decided at some point that this little park just off Wadestown Road was worth two! I guess a park bench is almost like a photo in a way, but instead of someone taking a picture of a view you’re forced to look at what someone else found interesting. I have some favourite benches, whether or not for the view, or who I’ve sat there with. Some I have never taken a moment on, such as these two. Maybe I’m overthinking it and there was just leftover bench budget.
